Art by Local and State Artists will be displayed at the Silent Auction in the foyer of the Carriage House. Cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction will begin at 6:00 p.m. Stick around, because as the evening gets late, the live auction will feature outstanding travel and dinner packages.
Ora Reed is one of Mississippi’s leading cultural ambassadors, and her powerful interpretations of jazz standards are known around the world! Within the United States Ora has performed at such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall and Caesar’s Palace. Beyond our borders, she has performed in Japan, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Malaysia, and the United Arab Emirates. Ora has received the Mississippi Trailblazers Legacy Award, the Institutions of Higher Learning Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award, and was a 2017 inductee into the Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame.
